Europa League winners Manchester United trained in Macedonia on Monday evening, ahead of the UEFA Super Cup clash with Champions League holders Real Madrid.

In sweltering conditions in the capital city, Skopje, a 26-man squad – including the handful of players who are suspended or injured for Tuesday's encounter – took part in an hour-long session on the Philip II Arena pitch, wearing a new black and red adidas training kit.

Having just conducted a press conference inside the stadium, Jose Mourinho joined his coaches to oversee the session, in which there were plenty of laughs in between the hard work.
