MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUMMER INS AND OUTS
The summer window has closed and the Manchester United squad has been reshaped for the 2017/18 season - and ManUtd.com has kept track of all the comings and goings on this page.
Sweden international Victor Lindelof was United's first summer signing, sealing a move from Benfica in June, before Romelu Lukaku arrived on a five-year deal from Everton in July. They were joined by Nemanja Matic, who made the switch from Chelsea on the final day of July.
Injured striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was out of contract after his deal expired but re-signed on 24 August, while Adnan Januzaj joined Real Sociedad and Josh Harrop secured a move to Preston North End in the Championship.
Regan Poole agreed the first loan away from Old Trafford when linking up with Northampton Town and he was followed by goalkeepers Dean Henderson (Shrewsbury Town) and Sam Johnstone (Aston Villa). Devonte Redmond signed for Scunthorpe United on 28 July, in a move that will keep him at the League One club until January.
Guillermo Varela is rejoining Penarol, Tim Fosu-Mensah switched to Crystal Palace for the season on 10 August and fellow defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson joined Leeds United on a similar loan basis.
Academy youngsters Kayne Diedrick-Roberts and Faustin Makela were free to join new clubs - with some fresh names recently confirmed for the Under-18 squad.
