Manchester United have the most-tweeted team hashtag in global sport, Twitter has revealed as they celebrate 10 years of the hashtag.
The social networking service has released details of those hashtags most discussed in the world of sport, with the symbol used to tag tweets on specific topics or issues. It was invented on this day in 2007.
An average of 125m hashtags are shared every day on Twitter and United's (#MUFC) is the most popular with regards to teams.
