Casemiro injury update as Manchester United's injury concerns grow
Man Utd's injury situation could get even worse after a scare for star midfielder Casemiro while away on international duty.
Manchester United have been handed another injury concern ahead of their trip to face Sheffield United in the Premier League this weekend.
Erik ten Hag's side has already been ravaged by a number of injuries this season and could also be without the services of Casemiro for their trip to Bramall Lane this weekend.
The 31-year-old suffered an ankle injury during the first-half of Brazil's 1-1 draw with Venezuela last Friday and asked to be substituted in the final stages of the match.
Casemiro started in central midfield at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiabá for the first of Brazil's two 2026 World Cup qualifiers but was taken off as one of three changes on 79 minutes when Brazil were 1-0 up, before a late Eduard Bello goal levelled the scoreline.
