LINGARD TOPS UNITED'S GOAL OF THE MONTH POLL

LINGARD TOPS UNITED'S GOAL OF THE MONTH POLL

Jesse Lingard has picked up Manchester United's Goal of the Month award for February, following his headed winner against Chelsea in the club's last game.

The midfielder came off the bench to good effect to nod home Romelu Lukaku's centre as the Reds defeated last season's Premier League champions 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Both of United's goals in that impressive victory finished comfortably clear of the other shortlisted strikes in the poll on ManUtd.com, with Lukaku's opener against his former club voted into second place. Swiss forward Nishan Burkart's cute finish for the Under-18s against Derby County came third.
Also on the list were a pair by Lukaku against Huddersfield Town, in the league and Emirates FA Cup wins, and three more Under-18 efforts, by Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood and James Garner.
