WATCH DE GEA'S HEROICS AGAINST SEVILLA

David De Gea was once again a shining light for Manchester United on Wednesday, as he recorded his 19th clean sheet of the season for the Reds in the goalless draw against Sevilla.

United’s no.1 pulled off a total of eight saves in the Champions League last-16 first leg, which is the most by a Reds custodian in the competition since Edwin van der Sar made the same number in the 2011 final against Barcelona.
The best of his stops at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium was an incredible point-blank stop from Luis Muriel in first-half stoppage time to keep the hosts at bay, and Sevilla ultimately failed to score at home in the Champions League for the very first time.
"It was a good moment and a good save, of course, especially because of the moment in the game - the last minute of the first half," David told MUTV after the game. "It was important we didn't concede a goal. We defended well. I think they had control of the game, but the result is open."

In the Champions League this season, De Gea has kept out 95.5 per cent of the shots he has faced, which is more than any other keeper in the competition with 10 or more saves to their name. Wednesday's clean sheet was his sixth in his last eight games in Europe.
Victor Lindelof, whose solid display also contributed to the shut-out, said: "David made some good saves and he's the best goalkeeper in the world, so we're very happy to have him. I don't know what more to say about him other than he's fantastic.
"It gives us confidence to know he's behind us - he speaks a lot, pushes us from behind and gives us a lot of calmness, so it's good."
