ALEXIS TRAINS WITH NEW TEAM-MATES
Manchester United's new signing Alexis trained in front of the club's cameras for the first time on Sunday as preparations continued for the midweek clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Chilean made a victorious debut in Friday's Emirates FA Cup tie at Yeovil and he'll be targeting another winning bow for the club, this time in the Premier League, when the Reds visit Spurs - his former local rivals at Arsenal.
MUTV and club photographers John Peters and Matt Peters were at the Aon Training Complex to capture the action as Alexis joined the rest of the squad for a Sunday workout led by manager Jose Mourinho. Last week was also a notable one for the boss, of course, as the Portuguese put pen to paper on an extended contract with United.
Wednesday's match will be United's 50th appearance at Wembley Stadium, the temporary home for Tottenham while a new ground is built at White Hart Lane. But before the clubs meet at first-team level, the Reds' Reserves will host Spurs' second string in a Premier League 2 match at Old Trafford on Monday night. Kick-off is at 19:00 GMT, entry is free and the game will be shown live on MUTV.
