GOALS: WATFORD 2 MANCHESTER UNITED 4

Manchester United turned on the style on Tuesday night with an impressive 4-2 win at Watford in the Premier League.

The rampaging Reds struck four times in a game for the eighth time so far this season and kept up the pressure on leaders Manchester City at the top of the table in a breathless spectacle at Vicarage Road.
Ashley Young, who was voted the club's Man of the Match by fans on Twitter, stole the show in the first half with two stunning strikes against his former club, including a sublime free-kick from 25 yards which was beautifully curled into the top corner.
Anthony Martial slotted home a third to equal his tally from the full 2016/17 campaign, giving Jose Mourinho’s men a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.
The Hornets, who had won their previous two league games without conceding, produced a late revival as Abdoulaye Doucoure poked in from close range and substitute Troy Deeney scored from the penalty spot.
But, four minutes from time, Jesse Lingard made sure of United’s third successive league victory by netting his first goal in the competition this season with a sublime solo effort, running from inside his own half before stroking a composed finish past Heurelho Gomes.
