STANLEY CHOW'S INSIDE UNITED TAKEOVER
The latest issue of the club's official magazine has taken on a bold new look for one month only.
Inside United's November edition, on sale this week, gives its cover over entirely to graphic artist and big Red Stanley Chow. The renowned illustrator has filled his canvas with a cool Juan Mata portrait drawn in his unmistakable style, and has also revamped the famous masthead and sketched all the cover lines individually.
"I wanted to add as much of my own personality as possible," says the award-winning (and season ticket-holding) artist.
The 'Stanley Chow takeover' continues inside the magazine, with plenty more illustrations appearing throughout and a feature on the artist himself, his work and the upcoming exhibition he is holding at the Manchester United Museum on 26 October.
Stan's style has captured the imagination of the first-team squad, with many of them using his illustrations on social media platforms. "I think it looks better than I look!" reckons Mata of his cover portrait.
The special collectors' edition of Inside United is out now and can be bought around Old Trafford on matchdays, at the Megastore, in newsagents and online.
