If ever anybody's individual performance deserved a goal, Anthony Martial's strike in the Carabao Cup triumph over Burton Albion was certainly fully merited.

The clear Man of the Match, despite the strong claims of team-mates Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, enjoyed himself against the Championship side at Old Trafford and turned on the style.

Look out for an acrobatic scissor-kick that was blocked, an outrageous assist for Lingard's deflected strike and an incredible solo run that would have led to a quite brilliant goal, but for Connor Ripley's fine save. And, of course, there are also a few angles of his calmly-taken finish for the Reds' fourth on the night.

Resisting any attempts to knock him off his stride, the Frenchman was simply unplayable at times and his confidence looks sky high.
