Goals have been a familiar theme throughout Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career and that was no different in his first season with Manchester United. 

A spectacular strike in his first pre-season match against Galatasaray was followed by the winner at Wembley in the Community Shield and three goals in his opening two league games for Jose Mourinho's side.

Who can forget his sublime lobbed finish at Goodison Park, his late leveller against Liverpool at Old Trafford and his Man of the Match display and double in the EFL Cup final, which led to yet another piece of silverware?

The Swede - now our new no.10 - finished the campaign as the club's top scorer on 28 goals but his season was cruelly cut short by a knee injury in the Europa League quarter-final win over Anderlecht. Nevertheless, Ibrahimovic ended 2016/17 sporting that classic Zlatan grin, and with a trophy in his hand as the Reds ran out winners of the Europa League in Ibrahimovic's homeland.
