Manchester United maintain a perfect start to the Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Reds were left frustrated for long periods as Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel pulled off a string of fine saves, including a penalty stop from Romelu Lukaku after former United full-back Danny Simpson was penalised for handball.
But Jose Mourinho's substitutions paid dividends as Marcus Rashford and Marouane Fellaini had the desired impact from the bench.
Rashford opened the scoring in the 70th minute when he volleyed home from a corner by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who recorded his fifth assist in the league already this season.
Fellaini made the game safe when he doubled the lead eight minutes from time, diverting home fellow substitute Jesse Lingard’s shot from close range.
It means United end an impressive first month of 2017/18 with three league wins and three successive clean sheets, having also beaten West Ham United and Swansea City 4-0 in the previous two matches.
