UNITED DUO HUNGRY FOR SUPER CUP SUCCESS

Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid provides Manchester United with a chance to lift a trophy from the first competitive match of 2017/18 – and the Reds are determined to grasp it with both hands.
Jose Mourinho's Europa League victors have been training hard ahead of facing Zinedine Zidane’s Champions League winners at the Phillip II Arena in Skopje, Macedonia. As the United manager often stated to the media throughout the club's successful pre-season period, the Super Cup has been identified to the players as the first priority of this upcoming campaign.
"We are working for the Super Cup and it is our first objective," Antonio Valencia confirmed to ManUtd.com while on tour in the United States. "We are motivated, we are working hard, we are concentrated and we are hopeful that we can achieve our goal of lifting the trophy in Macedonia."

Expanding on his personal ambitions for the season ahead, which is his 10th as a United player, Valencia continued: "My main objective is always to win titles and then it is just enjoying the day to day, the training and all of the games. But winning titles is what I always look to target ahead of the season."
United and Real Madrid have already met this summer, of course, in the International Champions Cup at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. That ended in a penalty shootout win for the Reds following a 1-1 draw in which Anthony Martial produced a superb assist for Jesse Lingard to score.
The French forward looked sharp and concentrated throughout the club's pre-season workouts and he is now excited by the much-anticipated Super Cup game.
"It's going to be a tough match," says Martial. "It has been up to us to prepare ourselves for it during these friendly matches, and to be ready to take home this title to Manchester. We are all looking forward to it."
Real Madrid v Manchester United will kick off at 19:45 BST on Tuesday. You can follow live updates on ManUtd.com and the club's official Twitter account @ManUtd and listen to radio commentary via MUTV.
